In the King James Version, Psalms 120–134 are known as the Songs of Degrees. In many modern translations, they are called the Songs of Ascents. These fifteen psalms were sung by the Israelites as they journeyed up to Jerusalem to worship during God's annual festivals. Today's sermon will provide an overview of these psalms because they contain a meaningful message for us as we prepare for and observe the fall Holy Days.
